Power and Lighting Panelboards

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Drum, under the Department of the Army, has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation for the procurement of specialized electrical panels. This requirement includes one Crouse Hinds power panelboard and one Crouse Hinds lighting panelboard. The power panelboard is a 480-volt, 42-circuit enclosure with 38 breaker spaces and a 225-amp main breaker, designed for Division 1 and Zone 1 environments. The lighting panelboard is a 208-volt system with similar specifications, rated for Division 1 and 2 and Zones 1 and 2. Both units must be cast aluminum, explosion-proof, not factory sealed, and include factory-installed Group B kits.

The solicitation is identified as W911S225U1551 and is designated as an SBA Small Business Administration (SBA) set-aside. The acquisition is classified under PSC 5998 for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware. While the initial notice listed NAICS 423610 for Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers, an implemented amendment updated the classification to NAICS 335311.
