Sustaining Engineering Support

The Department of the Air Force, via the AFLCMC WIUKB, is seeking sustaining engineering services to support the United States Air Force (USAF) H-60 System Program Office. This effort provides the agency with technical expertise and access to original equipment manufacturer proprietary engineering data, including structural and component drawings, qualification data, and analysis techniques. These services are required to maintain the operational, safety, suitability, and effectiveness of the USAF H-60 fleet by addressing deficiency reports, maintenance procedures, accident investigations, and corrective action recommendations.

This requirement is classified under NAICS 541330 Engineering Services and PSC R425 SUPPORT- PROFESSIONAL: ENGINEERING/TECHNICAL. The government intends to award a Requirements Type Indefinite Delivery Contract, utilizing Cost-Plus Fixed Fee and Cost Reimbursement-No Fee structures for travel. The anticipated period of performance includes a one-year basic period and four annual ordering periods. All work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, which is the location of the sole source provider, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is identified as the only responsible source capable of satisfying agency requirements under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
