J--Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Pre-Deployment Troop Equipment Maintenance

This announcement is a notice of intent to issue a noncompetitive bridge contract for Pre-Deployment Troop Equipment (PDTE) Maintenance to Automation Precision Technology LLC, 4535 E Princess Anne RD, Norfolk, VA, 23502-1613, for a base period of 1 May 2013 through 31 October 2013 and 2 three-month option periods of 1 November 2013 through 30 April 2014 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is currently processing an enterprise solution, Integrated Logistics Support and Services (ILSS-II), which will include PDTE maintenance. A bridge contract is necessary to minimize the current lapse in services between the lapse of the current contract and issuance of the enterprise wide solution. The proposed action will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Firms are requested to submit any questions/concerns regarding this non-competitive bridge contract directly to the contract specialist at [email protected] no later than 3 April 2013 at 3:00 PM PST. Questions submitted by other means will not be evaluated. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210. The associated small business size standard is $35.5 million.
