DT-574 Hydrophones

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is establishing a five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) production contract for DT-574 Hydrophones. The scope covers the full hardware lifecycle, including design, documentation, manufacturing, testing, and delivery. The contractor will provide first article units followed by production hydrophones that meet the DT-574 Critical Item Performance Specification (CIPS). Technical data and drawings are restricted under Distribution Statement D, limiting access to the Department of Defense and U.S. DoD contractors. Access to these documents for proposal development is available through the procedures in Section L. Performance will take place in Newport, Rhode Island. Amendment 0001 updated the Product Service Code and Purchase Instrument Description and clarified the process for requesting technical documentation. Proposals are due by June 30, 2026.
