NOTICE TYPE: Combined- Pre-solicitation TITLE: 5180-01-503-8251- Tool Kit, Fiber; 5180-01-416-0565 Tool Kit, Fiber, for a Long-Term Contract (LTC)/ Strategic Contract. Issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source: Kitco Fiber Optics, Inc., Inc. Cage 08RC6, contract which will include (2) NSNs to support the following operational platforms: NSN(s) 5180-01-503-8251, P/N: 0831-8230; 5180-01-416-0565, P/N: 6872811. The proposed action is intended to be awarded sole source basis with one issued cage. The proposed sole source is list above. This item is solicited as Unrestricted. These item includes: critical item and Hazard. Terms are FOB Origin and Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 2 KT each (base year only) and a total contract maximum quantity of 11 KT over the 5 years. The minimum delivery order is 2 KT and the maximum delivery order quantity is 11 KT. Surge requirements are not applicable. Requested delivery is 98 days ARO. NSN: 5180-01-416-0565, the estimated annual quantity is 27 KT per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 8 KT (base year only) and a total contract maximum quantity 41 KT over the 5 years. The minimum delivery order is 8 KT and the maximum delivery order quantity is 27 KT. Requested delivery is 90 days ARO. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast.
