Notice of Intent for DataRay equipment D4 upgrade

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration (ASA) intends to award a sole-source contract to DataRay Inc. for a D4 upgrade to barcode wristband equipment at the Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. This project transitions the facility from the legacy D3 platform, which has reached end-of-life, to the D4 platform. The upgrade is a logical follow-on to maintain patient identification workflows integrated with the Resource Patient Management System (RPMS) and Zebra printers. While the agency plans a sole-source award, it will accept capability statements from firms offering equivalent solutions until June 18, 2026. The project involves upgrading barcode wristband infrastructure to ensure patient identification systems remain functional. The Indian Health Service (IHS) requires a sole-source upgrade of barcode wristband infrastructure at the Cheyenne River Health Center.
