CFM F108 Engine Performance Based Supply Chain Management Support Follow-On

DLA Aviation is soliciting performance-based holistic supply chain management support for the F108 Engine and its associated Bill of Materials. This requirement includes supply support, demand and planning forecasting, material management, engineering support, sustainment elements, packaging, storage and warehousing, and reliability improvements. The agency intends to issue a sole source solicitation to CFM International (CAGE 58828) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Identified by solicitation number SPE4AX23R0033, the acquisition is classified under NAICS 336412 for Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing and PSC 2840 for Gas Turbines and Jet Engines, Aircraft, Prime Moving; and Components.

The procurement will result in a Firm Fixed Price Requirements-type contract for commercial acquisitions under FAR Part 12. The contract structure consists of a five-year base period with one five-year option period, for a total potential performance duration of ten years. Primary performance will take place at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Although originally planned as a subsumable action under the General Electric Captains of Industry Supplier Capability Contract, Amendment 001 establishes this as a stand-alone contracting action.
