Description: The requirement is for an overhaul of F100-PW-220 Engine Flameholder Afterburner support. The contract will have a one-year basic and four one-year options. 1. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARS). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. Sole Source: This effort is anticipated to be a sole source award to Turbocumbuster Technology dba Paradigm Precision (CAGE: 64043), as they are currently the only qualified source for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207 (c) (15)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
