This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 in conjunction with 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DOL-MSH-15-R-00004 and it is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-78. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333131 (Mining Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing). This requirement is a total small business set aside with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Only qualified Contractors will be considered.
