Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES) II Harness Release Cartridge and Drogue Gun Cartridge

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Hill Air Force Base is seeking proposals for the production of Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES) II Harness Release Cartridges and Drogue Gun Cartridges. This procurement supports the U.S. Air Force and eighteen Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners, including NATO and various nations across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Chemring Energetic Devices and Rockwell Collins are the identified authorized sources for these critical safety items. The solicitation, FA8213-25-R-3026, has been amended five times to adjust requirements and extend the deadline, with the current closing date set for July 8, 2026. Performance will take place at Hill Air Force Base and requires strict adherence to technical data packages, engineering data lists, and hazardous munitions packaging standards.
