GCMC - Lodging

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA) TO MORALE WELFARE RECREATION'S (MWR) ARMY LODGING - GARMISCH TO PROVIDE LODGING SERVICES FOR THE GEORGE C. MARSHALL CENTER (GCMC). The Department of Defense (DOD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate - OCONUS, (WHS/AD - OCONUS) intends to award a sole source BPA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." WHS/AD - OCONUS intends to issue a sole source BPA for lodging services to MWR Army Lodging - Garmisch, Breitenauer Strasse 2, 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. This BPA will have a five (5) year ordering period commencing on 10 April 2019 and continuing through 09 April 2024. The GCMC has a requirement to provide continuous, extended-stay lodging services for participants of more than 30 unique programs hosted each calendar year. GCMC forecasts an annual requirement of 27,000 lodging nights; 135,000 lodging nights over the life of the BPA. Currently, lodging services are provided under an existing BPA with Army Lodging - Garmisch (HQ0236-14-A-0002). The current agreement ends 09 April 2019. In order to provide for GCMC's desired program growth and price fluctuations over a five (5) year ordering period, a BPA ceiling of $10 million is required. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government reserves the right to cancel this sole source BPA. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, Small Business Size Standard of $32,500,000.00 annual sales.
