Original Description

(1) INTRODUCTION: The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ, has a requirement for Radio Communications Services. (2) CONTRACT TYPE AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government contemplates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a one-month transition option period, a 12-month base period, and four 12-month options periods, for a total period of performance of 61 months. (3) NATURE OF COMPETITION: The acquisition strategy for this procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside with a tiered evaluation, consisting of Tier 1 Small Disadvantaged Business and Tier 2 Small Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811213 Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance, which has a size standard of $12.0M. (4) STANDARD LANGUAGE: This announcement does not obligate the Government to award any effort resultant from this Solicitation/Screening Information Request (SIR). The FAA will not pay any costs associated with responding to or providing a submission in response to this posting. (5) SITE VISIT: A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM Eastern Time on 21 April 2022. As specified in L.2 of the SIR, Offerors planning to attend the mandatory site visit must confirm attendance in writing via email to the designated POC identified in AMS Provision 3.2.2.3-20 Offers no later than 1:00 PM Eastern Time on 19 April 2022. If the Offerors email confirming attendance is not received by this time, the Offeror will not be permitted to attend the site visit and their proposal will be deemed non-responsive. Offerors written confirmation of attendance must include company name (Offeror and subcontractor, if applicable) and the name and title of attendee(s). It is the Offerors responsibility to verify that the Government has received the attendance request. (6) MASK GUIDANCE FOR SITE VISIT: Contractors are required to check the Community Level at the following website in order to determine if masks are required for entry.Masks will no longer be required in facilities located in counties with LOW or MEDIUM Community Levels. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/community-levels.html (7) DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: Questions and comments regarding this SIR and/or resulting from attendance at the site visit must be submitted, in writing only, by 1:00 PM Eastern Time on 26 April 2022 via email to the designated POC identified in AMS Provision 3.2.2.3-20 Offers. The Offeror must submit the proposal via email with a subject line identified as Proposal in Response to SIR 692M15-22-R-00007 [insert Offerors Name] to the designated POC identified in AMS Provision 3.2.2.3-20 Offers. The submission date and time for the proposal must be no later than the date and time specified in Block 8 of Standard Form (SF) 33 Solicitation, Offer and Award or as amended via an SF-30 Amendment of Solicitation. Any proposal received after the specified submission date and time is considered late and will not be considered for award. (8) SIR ATTACHMENTS: Solicitation 692M15-22-R-00007 is attached below along with all applicable attachments, as outlined in Section J.
