The VA Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 intends to issue a single-source procurement action to Catholic Charities of Central Florida for a 3-Month Homeless Shelter Services (Medically Enhanced Services). The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 624221 with a business size standard of $13.5 Million. This is a 3-month contract to support the Orlando Homeless veteran s population to continue uninterrupted services while the VA prepares a competitive solicitation for Base and Four Option Years which will be open to the public. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing short term residential care and emergency housing to homeless Veterans who are also recovering from a medical illness or injury. The proposed 3-Month contract the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This is a notice of intent to award a single-source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the single source must submit an interested letter that demonstrates the firm's ability to provide an equivalent product as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. Respond to the below point of contact by February 7, 2023, 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government.
