At that time additional environmental oversite resulted in delays to the project being approved for construction, resulting in the design expiring after 6 months per current agency work instruction policy. USACE is now back looking to update and award the design for construction.

In addition, to the updated surveys includes updating the existing DDR to reflect any design modifications made during the finalization of the P&S package. Optional work includes a hydraulic modeling update, topographic and bathymetric surveys, an additional round of BCOES review, and a project team meeting.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer/Specialist before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 4 June 2026, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
