R--Lead Materiel Integrator support services

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue a Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition to exercise Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-8 quote mark Option to Extend Services quote mark for continued performance of contract W52P1J-12-D-0023 Task Order 0001. This contract was competitively awarded to Premier Consulting & Management Services, Inc., 120 Belmonte DR SW, Atlanta, GA 30311-2774 to provide Lead Materiel Integrator Support Services to Army Sustainment Command (ASC). This notice of intent to extend performance of contract W52P1J-12-D-0023 Task Order 0001 is set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements when it is likely that award to any other source would result in (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. This notice is for information purposes only. No solicitation document will be available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
