Maintenance Dredging, Morehead City Inner Harbor

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, has issued solicitation W912PM26BA004 for maintenance dredging of the Morehead City Inner Harbor federal navigation channel. The project scope encompasses the removal and placement of approximately 331,000 cubic yards of shoaled material from several reaches, including the non-beach compatible section of Range C, the East Leg, the West Leg, and the Northwest Leg. Work will be performed using either mechanical or hydraulic dredging methods to depths ranging from 35 to 45 feet, plus two feet of allowable overdepth. All dredged material will be transported via ocean-certified barges to the government-furnished Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS).
