As temporary records meet agency retention, VA station records officers authorize destruction that must be carried out utilizing a process that renders all records unreadable and unable to be reconstructed. The RCV intends to use the services of a Contractor to perform the annual destruction of sorted paper records that no longer need to be retained by the agency.
