Automated Aerosol Can Disposal System

The Department of the Army, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Drum, has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation under solicitation number W911S225U1952 for an automated aerosol can disposal system. This requirement is designated as a small business set-aside (SBA) under NAICS code 333998, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing, and PSC 4540, Waste Disposal Equipment. The procurement seeks a new unit manufactured in 2025 or newer designed to capture and contain propellant gases and liquid concentrate during the disposal process.

The system must feature a minimum 15hp hydraulic power unit, a compaction cylinder capable of 4-6 cycles per minute, and a capacity to process at least 250 cans per hour. Technical specifications include a pneumatic control panel with manual and automatic modes, a stainless steel feed table, and a hydraulic-driven fan with a filter saturation indicator.
