Asbestos Abatement and Remediation at Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) sites throughout the United States

The purpose of this Announcement Amendment is to amend the SIR (see attachment), extend the SIR close date to 11/18/2019 and answer questions from industry (see attachment). This announcement is for the posting of solicitation 6973GH-19-R-00250 for the Asbestos Abatement and Remediation at Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) sites throughout the United States. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 562910 Exception 2 Environmental Remediation Services. The business size standard for this NAICS is 750 employees. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) office of National Air Space (NAS) Defense Programs (NDP) is soliciting quotes to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to develop site specific plans, resource requirements, restoration of affected surfaces, and schedules for asbestos abatement projects at the 39 ARSR sites listed in the Statement of Work.
