This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quotation. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Joint Base Lewis-McChord (MICC-JBLM) is soliciting a contractor for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Container repair services at JBLM, WA. The contractor services call for personnel, management, labor, materials, equipment, and other related items to maintain and restore ISO containers to the standard of Military Handbook (MIL HDBK) 138B, Guide to Container Inspection for Commercial and Military Intermodal Containers. The maintenance includes inspecting, testing, adjusting, aligning, replacing, welding, grinding, riveting, straightening, machining, or resurfacing to restore serviceability of the containers by correcting specific damage, fault; malfunction or failure to a part, subassembly, item, or system. The services will be performed at the contractor's facility for items requiring other than minimal repairs. The services requiring minimal repairs will be performed at the designated location in the container yard located on JBLM. The anticipated contract period includes a 1-year base period and two 1-year option periods. The anticipated award date is 27 February 2015 with a contract start date of 1 April 2015. The Government will award a single fixed-price requirements type contract. The Government is not obligated to order the entire estimated amount.
