68--Various chemicals used in the maintenance and operation of base water treatment plants, steam plants, wastewater treatment plants, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The Public Works Division at Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for the provision and delivery of various types of chemicals to be used at base water treatment plants, steam plants, wastewater treatment plants, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The contractor shall supply all chemicals identified in the Statement of Work, as well as transportation and delivery services to deliver the chemicals at multiple sites throughout MCB Camp Lejeune. The government reserves the right to specify an alternate delivery location, onboard MCB or Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, at the time the order is placed. A requirements contract, in accordance with FAR 16.503, and the clause at FAR 52.216-21, is being utilized to support this procurement. The quantities specified in the schedule are estimates only and do not commit the Government to purchase. Delivery orders issued against this contract will specify the exact items and quantities to be delivered with each order. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. The period of performance for this contract shall be for a period of twelve (12) months from 02 July 2009 - 01 July 2010, inclusive.
