A solicitation will be issued for End Item: Aircraft, Galaxy C-5, NSN 1670-01-605-3100, Rail Assembly, Cargo, IQC 1000062917. OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT: 48 MONTHS. DURATION OF CONTRACT ORDERING PERIOD: 12 MONTHS. Government First Article Testing (FAT) is required. The required delivery is 180 days ARO for FAT samples and 243 days after FAT approval for production units. Configuration Control item. Critical Application Item. NAICS is 314999. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, full and open after exclusions of sources procedures. Only offers from small business concerns will be considered. FOB Origin, Inspection/Acceptance Origin. This is a request for proposal for an Indefinite Quantity Contract. Estimated Annual Quantities for the base and four one-year option periods will be 8 each. Surge requirements do not apply.
