CPLS MANIFOLDS

The Defense Logistics Agency Maritime - Norfolk is procuring 15 Continuous Purge Layup System (CPLS) Manifolds for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. This acquisition is a small business set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The agency requires new, non-refurbished hardware configured for portable dry air layup systems on nuclear aircraft carriers. These manifolds, identified as part number CPLS-CVN-2, must be housed in Pelican-style cases and include 2-outlet manifold boxes with 200 SCFM flowmeters and 3/4 inch piping. Technical specifications prohibit assembly methods like brazing or soldering and require specific components, including Norgren R74G pressure regulators and Kunkle Model 1 relief valves.
