This agency proposes to issue solicitation SPE4A6-19-R-0028 for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) five year new Long Term Contract initiative which includes the following NSN: CLIN 0001 - 4010-00-149-5614 - EXN, LOS ANGELES CLASS SSN (688), CHAIN, STUD LINK One NSN is targeted for this LTC initiative for solicitation SPE4A6-19-R-0028. It is anticipated that spec number MIL-C-24633A, NOT A, dtd 10/29/2014 is applicable for this NSN. The proposed action is intended to be awarded as Unrestricted, Other Than Full & Open Competition. The award effort for this acquisition for this NSN has been awarded for prior a Long Term Contract SPE4A6-14-D-0061 in addition to firm fixed priced transactional awards. The proposed contract will be awarded for a total of five years of performance to include a one year base year and four one year option periods. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This solicitation is proposed to be IAW FAR PART 15 for non-commercial item. The NSN cited above has been identified for this current action for the initial effort. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. Best value selection methods will be used only if other sources are approved. The Government will award a single award contract for this action. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) by October 19,2018. The issue date will be October 19, 2018 and the closing date is November 19, 2018. The item is identified with Federal Supply Class of 4010 for Chain and Wire Rope, NAICS- 332618 The solicitation will include EAD quantity of 28 each.
