Cannon AFB - Sources Sought Notice: Small Arms Firing Range (SAFR) Cleaning and Maintenance Services

The Department of the Air Force, 27th Special Operations Wing, is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of providing Small Arms Firing Range (SAFR) cleaning and maintenance services at Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB) in New Mexico. This notice seeks to determine the availability of small businesses to perform technical inspections, lead dust removal, and equipment maintenance for the 27th Special Operations Security Forces Squadron (SOSFS) and the 26th Special Tactics Squadron (STS) Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) ranges. The scope includes providing personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision for range infrastructure such as bullet traps, dust collection units, and HVAC systems. This information will assist the government in its acquisition strategy, specifically regarding a potential small business set-aside under NAICS code 561210 or 562910. Capability statements and a non-binding Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) are due by June 8, 2025. The requirement covers personnel, equipment, and supervision for maintaining range infrastructure, including bullet traps and HVAC systems, at Cannon AFB.
