The Department of the Navy, through the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support office, has issued solicitation N0038326QH074 for the repair of regulating valves identified by part number 2770073-114. This requirement is classified under NAICS 332919, Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing, and PSC 4810, VALVES, POWERED. There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. Responses are due by July 10, 2026, and one attachment, the formal solicitation document, was issued with the notice on June 10, 2026.
The scope of work focuses on asset repair turnaround time (RTAT), which is measured from the physical receipt of an asset at the contractor’s facility to its final government acceptance. Contractors are required to report all transactions via the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system within five business days of receipt. If an item is determined to be beyond economical repair or beyond repair, the contractor must notify the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for verification and await written authorization from the Procurement Contracting Officer before scrapping or cannibalizing the asset. All shipments must be made by traceable means and packaged for overseas delivery.
Government source inspection is required for all assets, and final inspection and acceptance must be obtained within the established RTAT. Failure to meet the required turnaround times will result in per-unit price reductions, which are implemented through a reconciliation modification at the end of the contract performance period. The contract also specifies an induction expiration date, after which assets cannot be repaired without a bilateral agreement between the vendor and the contracting officer. Jeremy P. Barney serves as the primary point of contact for this solicitation.
